Why Us?

ORIGINS

Elliot Meadows is a licensed general contractor who has been a Volusia County local since early childhood. Real estate development and construction are woven into the fabric of the Meadows family history. After college in 2001, Elliot worked for a major local builder of luxury homes and then later went on to build condominiums on the Halifax River and New Smyrna Beach.

In 2009, Elliot Meadows Certified Contractors was born! We built both commercial and residential properties for over 5 years until our focus shifted to custom homes! Today we are a family-owned and operated business whose passion is to fulfill clients’ dreams by building their vision of a custom home. Step by step, we work in-depth with you to provide an exciting, personalized, and innovative creation that will last lifetimes!

Elliot Meadows’s journey is woven into family, community, and craftsmanship. A Volusia County local since early childhood, he started his love of entrepreneurship at a young age by working with his father with their own rock and mulch company. After graduating college in 2001, Elliot sharpened his skills working for a prominent local luxury-home builder. He then led projects building condominiums along the Halifax River and in New Smyrna Beach.

In 2009, he took a bold step and founded Elliot Meadows Certified Contractors, now knows as Elliot Meadows Custom Homes. Working in all aspects of building but within five years, Elliot refined his focus to custom homes—turning clients’ visions into reality with personalized, innovative designs meant to last lifetimes.

A family-owned and operated business, Elliot now collaborates closely with clients from design through warranty. His dedication to quality and communication has earned over $60 million in completed projects and a notable 4.7-star Google rating.

Beyond construction, he embraces life with his wife and two children, enjoying boating and pickleball in his free time.

Today, Elliot and his team serve Central Florida prominently focusing on the east coast mostly in Volusia County but also venturing into Brevard and Flager. Elliot Meadows Custom Homes can be find all over east coast Florida—including Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, Ormond Beach, Deland, and Edgewater—offering expert guidance through design, permits, construction, final walkthrough, and warranty phases.

Elliot Meadows now takes time to mentor the next generation of entrepreneur as well as working to help improve Volusia County by being members of all 4 Chamber of Commerce’s, 3 Board of Realtors and the Government Affairs Chair of the Volusia Builders Association.

PErmitting

At Elliot Meadows Custom Homes, we make the building process smoother by handling permitting in-house. Our dedicated permitting department knows the local codes and county requirements inside and out, saving you time, reducing delays, and eliminating guesswork. By keeping everything under one roof, we streamline approvals and maintain full transparency from day one, so you can move from concept to construction without unnecessary hold-ups.

Estimation & Selection

At Elliot Meadows Custom Homes, our in-house estimator and selections team, work hand-in-hand to keep your project on time and budget. By having this team, we’re able to provide fast, accurate pricing which helps you make confident design choices without the back and forth of outside consultants. From fixtures to finishes, our team guides you through every decision, ensuring selections align with both your style and your budget. We pride ourselves on saving you valuable time and money while keeping your build on schedule.

Project Management

At Elliot Meadows Custom Homes, your project is never out of sight or out of mind. Our dedicated field supervisors are on-site daily, overseeing every detail of the build to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion. They take real-time photos and upload updates directly to our builder/client platform, giving you 24/7 access to your home’s progress whether you’re local or out of state. This level of transparency and oversight means fewer surprises, faster decisions, and peace of mind knowing your home is in expert hands every step of the way.

Warranty

At Elliot Meadows Custom Homes our warranty process offers piece of mind for years.

During the first year that you live in your new home, it will be totally covered under our in house warranty program. This is similar to a bumper to bumper warranty on a car, everything is covered! At year two, the Maverick 2-10 Warranty begins, this is our 3rd party warranty company that is included in every home we build. While most builders stop there, we offer up to an additional five year appliance warranty package. Up until your homes 10th birthday, it will have a third party structural warranty in place to insure that you won’t have to worry about your homes integrity.
