should feel exciting—not overwhelming. That’s why we’ve created a clear, hands-on 10-step experience
that guides you from your first meeting with us all the way to your move-in day—with expert guidance and
friendly communication at every turn.
1–3: Contract Phase – Getting the Foundation Set
We begin by signing your custom home contract and locking in your plan to build. Next, we help you select
the floor plan that best fits your lifestyle, needs, and vision. Once the floor plan is finalized, we move into
the preliminary plan review, where you can review and give input on the initial architectural drawings,
making sure everything is just right before design begins.
4–5: Design Phase – Bring Your Vision to Life
This is where your house becomes a home! You’ll choose your colors, finishes, fixtures, and more, with
support from our selections team to help bring your dream to life. We’ll walk you through a final design
review to ensure every detail meets your expectations before construction begins.
6–9: Construction Phase – Watch Your Home Take Shape
We start the construction journey with a Pre-Construction Meeting where our Construction Manager will
review the build timeline and answer any final questions. Our in-house permitting team will have already
been working behind the scenes to pull everything needed to get your build started.
Then comes your Customer Frame Walk—an exciting moment where you tour your home while it’s being
framed. You’ll get to visualize room layouts and see all the structural elements come together.
We also introduce you to the key members of our construction team to ensure consistent communication
throughout the process. This leads to the Buyer Sign-Off, a final walk-through to confirm all finishes and
details meet your expectations.
10: Closing – Welcome Home!
It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for—Closing Day. We’ll hand you the keys to your beautifully crafted,
energy-efficient custom home, built with the E-Difference- excellence, expertise, and enthusiasm.
